At Mulberry Shades, I mainly cleaned public areas such as the pool, reception, lobby, spa, gym, and pathways. I also occasionally assisted the room attendants in preparing guest rooms.
At Vaani Greens, I was responsible for cleaning guest rooms and common areas in a 22-room hotel — including replacing linens, disinfecting surfaces, and attending to guest requests. Additionally, I operated housekeeping machines like vacuum cleaners, single-disc machines, and auto scrubbers to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
✅ Why leave your previous job?

✅ Room cleaning procedures*
“First, I check the room status – whether it’s vacant, occupied, or DND.
If occupied, I don’t disturb before 10 AM unless guest asks.
At the door, I knocked three times and said ‘Housekeeping’. Each time I waited 10 seconds. After the third knock, I slowly opened the door and again said ‘Housekeeping’.
Inside the room, I switch on lights, TV, and AC to check. I opened the curtains and checked for lost and found items. Then I remove garbage, used linens, and towels.
Before making the bed, I put R6 in the WC and leave it for 10–15 minutes. Then I make the bed with fresh linens, dust the furniture, clean the mirrors.
Next, I clean the bathroom – sink, mirror, WC, shower, and polished metal fittings. I replace fresh towels, tissues, and toiletries.
After that, I keep guest amenities like water, tea/coffee kit etc..
In the end, I spray air freshener, align curtains and furniture,
and finally or mop the floor.
